Started out playing drums in night clubs in Portland, Oregon at 15. Then went on to play with Bo Diddley at 17. He joined a band that got a record deal and traveled the country playing theaters and arenas at 19.

Where does a guy go from there?

Hollywood, of course! Venice to be precise.
